FORA is performing a comprehensive reassessment of the 1997 Base Reuse Plan through the end of this year. The Ventana Chapter FORA Committee has been actively monitoring this process and submitting comments. This meeting is an opportunity for the FORA Board to receive comments from the public about a Draft Fort Ord Base Reuse Plan Reassessment Report. The Reassessment Report was just released in draft form on October 17 and contains information gathered in the Scoping Report phase. The Reassessment Report identifies a range of policy options and potential Base Reuse Plan modifications for the FORA Board's consideration. Here is the link to the Draft Reassessment Report: http://www.fora.org/Reports/ReassessmentReport/Public_Draft_ReassessmentReport101612.pdf.
